Hello from Oregon!

Well, it has been quite the journey to get here, but we're here in Hood River, Oregon. We arrived this morning at 1 am. Except for us losing our right blinker and running over a skunk, the drive was uneventful and Brooke was such a great little traveller! Seriously, we only had to stop twice for her on the 10 hour drive and she slept the last half, too! What a champ!

So sad story- we missed seeing our new niece (Shayna's baby) by a day! Unbelievable! We for sure thought that we'd see her before we left because she was beyond a week overdue. Oh well! Welcome to the world, Olivia Kate Potter. We love you and are excited to see you when we get back. Congratulations to Shayna, Tony, Zoe and Keegan! You are now a family of 5!

Tomorrow I'll be applying to a few jobs which I'm excited about. AND, Brooke is totally loving everyone! Her playing strange lasted about a month. I love that she's so pleasant. Gordon will be gone most of the day working with his Dad doing construction building up his muscles (haha!). So, yeah--besides missing seeing Olivia, things are well so far! And, pictures are to come!
